AI visibility

Help AI understand, trust and recommend your business.

Customers are asking tools like ChatGPT who to choose. If your business is unclear or hard to verify, a competitor may get the shortlist instead.

What it is

AI cannot recommend what it cannot understand.

AI visibility is whether AI tools can understand, verify and recommend your business when a customer asks who to choose. AI looks for clear, consistent, trustworthy information:

  • What you do
  • Where you work
  • Who you help
  • Why you are credible
  • What customers say about you

If that information is weak or inconsistent, another business is easier to recommend. Customers are increasingly asking tools like ChatGPT who to choose, sometimes before they visit a website at all, so a competitor gets the shortlist and you never see the enquiry. This sits alongside Google, not instead of it.

Where AI looks
AI does not only read your website.

Your reviews, your Google Business Profile, the directories you are listed in and what other sites say about you are all public signals an AI system may draw on. The Check looks at all of it, then reports what the systems we tested actually returned.

The Check

Start with the free Check.

The AI Visibility Check asks recommendation-style questions, the way a customer would, and compares the answers with the public information AI can find about your business. It asks ChatGPT (using live web search) and Perplexity, then verifies the businesses they name.

You get a plain-English result in seconds. No jargon, no numeric score. Ask for your complete plan and your Snapshot is reviewed personally, then we send the priority fixes in order. If it is not a fit, we say so.

When customers ask AI for an electrician on the Gold Coast, you show up sometimes, but competitors show up more often.

In the questions we tested, AI named two nearby electricians with stronger, easier-to-verify profiles. A real Snapshot names them.

Fix or Sprint

Two ways to fix it.

If you want the gaps fixed, there are two clear steps. The AI Visibility Fix is the focused entry. The AI Visibility Sprint is the deeper 90-day program for larger gaps. Both agree the priority work up front, include implementation and need access to the relevant accounts. AI recommendations cannot be guaranteed.

AI Visibility Fix

The focused entry: a visibility baseline, three priority improvements, Google Business Profile alignment, light website changes and a 30-day re-check.

$2,500 fixed
AI Visibility Sprint

The deeper 90-day program: up to five priority improvements, a midpoint review and a 90-day re-check.

$5,000 fixed

Ongoing upkeep is available if you want it, as AI keeps changing. It sits inside Keep It Working, our optional monthly support.

How we are different

Tools show the result. We fix the priority issues.

A free checker shows whether you appear. A tracking platform monitors mentions over time. Burly Wolf finds what AI cannot confirm and fixes the issues that matter first. No giant dashboard, no meaningless score, just a clear diagnosis and practical next steps.

What we cannot guarantee

No fake guarantees.

The four states a scorecard row can hold Four states shown as one measuring track read four ways. Strong is a full track. Needs work is a partly filled track. Not found is an empty track, because the check ran and found nothing. Not assessed has no track at all, because the check could not run. An orange mark on the first three states records that a check ran; the fourth carries no mark. ORANGE MARKS A CHECK THAT RAN Strong FOUND AND VERIFIED Needs work PRESENT BUT THIN Not found WE CHECKED. IT IS NOT THERE. Not assessed WE COULD NOT CHECK, AND WE SAY SO.

We cannot guarantee that an AI platform will recommend a business. AI tools change and no one controls their answers.

We can find the gaps, improve the agreed information and measure what changes at the day-90 re-check.

The same honesty runs through the result itself. Every line on your scorecard carries one of four states, and the fourth is not a grade: Not found means we looked and it is not there, Not assessed means we could not look, and it is never counted against you.

FAQ

Common questions

What is AI visibility?

Whether AI tools like ChatGPT can understand and trust your business well enough to recommend it when someone asks who to choose.

Is AI visibility the same as SEO?

No. SEO is about ranking in search results. AI visibility is about whether AI tools understand and recommend you. They overlap, because both reward clear, consistent, trustworthy information.

What if my business has no AI visibility yet?

That is common, and it is fixable. It usually means AI cannot clearly confirm who you are, what you do, and that you are trusted. That is information, not a verdict on your business. The Check shows the gaps and the plan closes them.

Do I need to publish more content?

Usually not. Most of the work is making the information you already have clear, consistent and easy for AI to verify. Sometimes a missing page or a few FAQs help, but this is not a content treadmill.

Which AI tools does the Check consider?

The current Check asks buyer-style questions of ChatGPT (using live web search) and Perplexity, then verifies the businesses they name. It does not currently test Gemini, Claude or Google's AI overviews. AI answers vary between people and over time, so the Check reflects how AI tends to respond on the day, not a guaranteed or fixed ranking.

Can you guarantee my business will be recommended?

We cannot guarantee an AI platform will recommend a business, but we can find the gaps, improve the agreed information and measure what changes.

What does the Sprint improve?

The information AI relies on: your website copy, service pages, location details, proof, Google Business Profile, FAQs, public profiles and reviews.

How long does the Sprint take?

90 days. You get a priority plan early, a midpoint check-in and a final re-check.

What happens after the Check?

You get an instant Snapshot. If there is a real gap and it looks like a fit, we follow up with the first things we would fix.

Do you only provide AI visibility services?

No. AI visibility is one of several services. We also help with paid ads, websites and conversion, tracking and follow-up and reviews and reputation.
